Following much consideration and previous bad experiences with builders, we decided to use Gilbert & Gregson as our chosen builders for our house extension.

Prior to the build Dean Gilbert & Luke Gregson were very patient with us taking us through the quote process enabling to find the right sweet spot for us in terms of requirements versus costs.

Overall, we have been extremely satisfied with the process and flexibility G & G have shown. We are very happy with the outcome and would be happy to use and recommend G & G again as a builder.

After getting quotes from other building firms, we decided to go with Gilbert & Gregson for our double story and part single story extension. Although they were not the cheapest, they had come recommended to us by our architect and we viewed some of their existing work before going ahead. From our previous building project that we'd done in London we knew we wanted builders that we could trust, work well with (as it would be a long project) and had a good reputation. Gilbert & Gregson had all of these.

We are extremely pleased with the decision to go with them. The build was fantastic and the whole team were professional, approachable, polite and friendly. Not just the Gilbert & Gregson team but also the contractors. The team kept us in the loop throughout the project and we were able to work together to overcome challenges that cropped up along the way. They were always happy to talk through solutions, based on their experience, our needs and our budget.

The whole project took just under 8 months, and we moved out after 2 months to enable them to work faster. Every room in our house was altered, so staying throughout the build would have been impossible. We also had a baby, so it was definitely not practical. They understood the urgency and want from us to get back into our own home as quickly as possible, but at the same time not cutting any corners or doing things quickly. We now have a beautiful family home to enjoy and we have a house that works for us. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Gilbert & Gregson to anyone who asks and if we need a builder in the future, we will definitely be using them again.

Gilbert & Gregson Construction Ltd built a single story extension and fitted a new kitchen for us over the Autumn/Winter of 2015.

Dean & Luke are friendly, competent and knowledgeable builders so we had complete confidence in their project management of plumbers, tilers and electricians. All of whom worked to the same exceptional standards.

The quality of build, fit and finish is exemplary. The project came in on budget and no issues have arisen since they left so we are able to just enjoy our more spacious home!

Gilbert & Gregson completed an office refit for us at our factory. They did a great job, often working outside of office hours. They worked hard to minimise disruption to office staff. They were friendly, considerate and tidy. Job finished on budget and on schedule.

At our home they completed an upstairs extension including 3 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. Downstairs there was also an extension. Being very particular and demanding individuals we were impressed with their craftsmanship and their attention to detail. Again, their team worked hard all day and always cleared up at the end. The job was very high end and if we did have any issues, these were always dealt with professionally. Unlike most builders, there were never any hidden extra's, which over the years I have experienced.

I would like to say a big "Thank You" for my kitchen.

I was very impressed with the labourers working in my kitchen, who were all very polite and professional and as you know, I have had in the past, bad experiences with workmen and your promises to me were fulfilled. I was quite concerned in the beginning as your price was so reasonable but I didn't need to be.

My kitchen is beautiful and I have had comments on the high standard of finish from the kitchen itself right down to the tiling. It's the small things like the coving and kickboards that make it look so nice as I knew you would not leave anything until you were happy with it.

When you said you would be at my house at a certain time I knew that you would be and I did not have to hang about waiting for you.

I was also impressed with the follow-up visit after the work was completed whereby you went through everything with me to ensure I was happy.

Please do not hesitate to use me as a reference I can assure you that when we need any more work doing in my house I will of course only use you, even if it means waiting until you are available.
